In short - 4 is the more stable, polished and better working game, that provides the true meaning of a 'post apocaliptic RPG' without trying to force to much pop culture references and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dowm your throat. It has verticality, when you can explore both up and down, most notably in Boston and some of the highways.

Many details describing the world, its inhabitant and history, not just empty spaces like NV and to some extent 3. The open world, as always, is the best there is. No more NV crosshairs that are off by a few mm so resulting in constant misses. It might not have as much RP gimmicks as 3 and NV, but at least its honest and doesnt put ♥♥♥♥ in for no reason - like 3 skill check for the same result, so even a stupid person with no clue how to character build can feel 'special' by being very roleplay-y. It does the 'post apocaliptic' part of the game right.

We could go on for hours, to the point where we'd write the entire content of FoNV to justify why its superior in every way, other than the sliding bug when you run around. Now do the same in FoNV and be amazed at how you can actually follow dialogue and instructions given by NPC's, notes and holotapes are sensical and can sometimes be all you need to find your way, in contrast to the other two games.

What u guys think is the best? FoNV is by far the best 3d fallout experience, the game is still buggy as hell but you stop giving a about the bugs and start literally caring for the game as you install mod after mod to keep yourself and your new wife happy.įo3 and Fo4 are games that are practically impossible to complete unless you have prior knowledge, or you have blind dumb luck lmao.Įxample, turn off the HUD with the alpha/opacity setting, try finish Fo3 and Fo4 without a HUD marker.
